Association Objectives

  • To promote in the United Kingdom the Hindu religion and the Jain religion in particular by providing facilities for worship.
  • To advance education and relieve poverty among persons belonging to the Vanik Community, either by descent or marriage, residing in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Membership Information

Membership of the Association shall be open to persons belonging to the community aged 18 and over, provided that:

  • An application is made using the prescribed form for Ordinary Member (Annual), Life Member, or Patron.
  • Applications will be considered by the Executive Committee, whose decision shall be final and conclusive. Such decisions will be recorded in the minutes. The President shall have the final say.
  • The Executive Committee shall not be obliged to disclose any reasons for its decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of an application.
